Asking for advice to be less stiff while playing beach volleyball
Skills in volleyball

I have been playing beach and indoor volleyball for many years, however I can't seem to be more relaxed when playing.  Example when I spike the ball or go up for a block I get tense and my body gets stiff.  Therefore this stiffness or tension in the body brings about different errors resulting in a missed block or spike into the net or out of bounds.  Is there any exercises that could help me to overcome tensing up my body when getting ready to execute a move, block, spike, or a serve?  Would yoga or tai chi help?
